Um, this is where I was cheated...We had to actually walk pretty far up the hill to get to the next station, and I was really motivated, since it SHOULD have been the cheese station. We also saw people not climb up the hill with us, and we just thought that they had given up. Unfortunately, these were experienced Gourmanders, and they knew that the next station was crap - an apple.
I think they put it in to make sure that all the alcohol from the last stations had been burned off - and to get us all rested for the final home stretch.
