It takes you awhile to figure out how things work, but apparently in the National Park there are seven zones that you can go. In order to prevent people from all going to the best zones (where they know more Tigers hang out in the open), they basically make each vehicle choose a zone from out of a hat. We will have three chances to see tigers and pick zones. By the end of our second safari, we learned that Zone 3 is the best area to go to. Not only are tigers relatively easier to see, but there's a more picturesque areas.
With us already in zones 4 and 5 the first two times out, and a conversation with a retired Californian biology teacher who had figured out about zone 3, Joe picked and we got the best zone.
