Thanks to the NYTimes (sometimes they can be hit or miss on their recommendations - see Worst Waiters in the World entry) we found this little/famous cafe in Salzburg.Like the review said, there were quite a few different people there - tourists, locals, old, and new. Nice cafe though right on the water.
