Despite the Austrians dislike for this fact, Salzburg is known as the area where the Sound of Music took place, which just so happens to be Patrick's favorite movie.Granted they have some other things that they are well-known for - like the Salzburg Music Festival (also highlighted in the Sound of Music), which was going on at the time we were there. But let's be honest - Sound of Music a way bigger drasw for Patrick than an Aida performance.
