Off the Vienna (2 hour train ride from Salzburg) and how appropriate that there is some sort of socialist demonstration going on - most people don't realize that Vienna was called 'Red Vienna' after WWI. I think it was like the Austin, Texas of the modern day US.From this little perch in a cafe over the major pedestrian square, we could see all sorts of stuff - one of the best people watching places in all of Europe - giving the Spanish steps a run for their money.
