Ah, another cheap airline flight from Vienna, and we've landed in a country that didn't even exist 20 years ago - Zadar, Croatia.The small town is ancient - like pre-Roman ancient - and it was also under seige during the war in the early 1990's with the Serbs. In case you don't know the gory details, Wikipedia does a pretty good job of explaining what happened.
The nice thing about Zadar is that yo got the small ancient town culture thing with the beach and water and sun. Sweet.
