Got to our hotel, called The Connaught, around 11:00 PM on the 27th (told you it was a long flight). Rooms were a bit small - think European size, not American size - but they were relatively clean. OK, we heard a rat/mouse in the wall the last night we were there; but you really had to know what you were listening for, Patrick.We were struck by the fact that there's really not a lot of zoning in India. Nice hotel sits pretty much next to a rundown apartment building. And we also were struck by the fact that there are a lot of people willing to help unload luggage, etc - for a tip, of course, and usually without asking - but it's nice to know they're there when you need them.
