Ah, perhaps my favorite cheese of winter - Mont D'or.Pick this one up from Emmanuelle Frohlich, while we were both in England a couple of weeks ago. As I've said before, this is about as close as the french come to fast food. Wrap this cheese in foil (round wooden box and all), throw in a little wine, and throw it in the oven with some potatoes until you can smell it.
