Although we are definitely in the running for the longest basement renovation in the history of the World, we are making some progress. We started on the floor about 3 1/2 years ago, and it was on hold for most of our stay in France. After calling in the plumber's to redo the piping, I was able to finish the walls - notice the steel framing (so much easier than using wood). Next major step is the electrical wiring, then a little dry walling, and floor finishing. Cross your fingers.
