Now I know why rich people have two homes - it is just so much easier to pack for a trip, when you already have your clothes over there. I do remember a book called Acquired Tastes, where the author talks about having all the advantages of a second without the disadvantages (he basically makes a deal with a nice hotel to store his stuff there for the year). Anyway . . .
With no need for clothes except the weekend trip (more on that later), and no need for the illegal trafficking of cheese - I got by with just one small suitcase. Sweet.
